Tuesday evening Eden (10) asked if she could pop some microwave popcorn. I was blog hopping and said 'sure'. I am not sure what exactly happened, but 3 minutes later she had a big mess. Smoke billowing out of the microwave, lovely. Our house still smells like an ashtray even with baking soda and vinegar working overtime.

On another note, my hubby recently signed up on facebook. I am a little jealous when I check my email and see another 'friend' has added him, or he has yet another message. I don't have a facebook, but I am thinking I want one. He doesn't even update his page or check his email. I totally don't get it.

Wow! Facebook...Ron...hmmm...interesting....
I don't think I'm ready for that. Why facebook?

I am so glad you blog and helped me get started. There are times I don't really feel like blogging, sharing myself in that way, but then I enjoy it too... reading others thoughts...
it certainly has helped me connect with all of you...especially my sister Kim...I really think blogging helped her and I bond, so I am thankful for that.

Hope your house smells good again soon!

Kayla once burned a microwave pretzel & I remember the smell vividly. Our microwave oooozed black stuff for months...what is that? The smell does go away...
eventually. I promise not to ask you if you have taken up smoking:)

Ughh! I HATE burnt popcorn smell... I am sensitive to smells but it may also be because popcorn is one of my favorite snacks and it is so sad to see it go to waste... ;) The good thing is today is cool and windy so you will be able to air it out pretty quickly!

Facebook is a great way to connect, and can turn into a neat ministry. People our age are starting to search for REAL peace, especially now that they have attempted achieving their dreams and succeeded in some of them, but realize there must be more...

Well...at least she TRIED to make it for herself! Hope the smell goes away soon. Faith once said, "When mommy cooks the smoke detector goes off." So, we certainly know the smell of smoke in our house, too!

The unnerving thing was that the smoke detectors didn't go off...

Must do...check batteries

It seems like it takes forever for the smell to go away. Hope it passes quickly. But I'd say some of those kernels still look edible...I'm sure it wouldn't taste as bad as it smells:)

A friend asked me to join facebook last week. I figured it was a good way to keep in touch with her so I joined. I was really suprised to see how many of my friends have accounts! (Most of them in my church.) I love blogging the most though. I haven't really added much to my facebook account.

Facebook is fun :)

My husband has talked about getting one too, but he will never get around to checking it...and I'd end up having to do it for him :)
