I think we may need to seek professional help

Our Internet service was down yesterday until late morning today. It became obvious that we all enjoy the computer maybe a bit too much. Emma and I both commented that we felt disconnected from the world.

In other news I finished the book 90 minutes in Heaven by Don Piper. What an amazing story! Emma also finished a book, one that she got at the Library yesterday! 400 pages none the less! So you can see that we did a lot of reading without the computer.

I have been wanted to read that 90 minutes in Heaven...I need to go get it! So glad you enjoyed it!

PS - Your hair is simply adorable on you!! Hope I haven't already told you that?!? I think it every time I see your pic...

one more thing...I'm adding you to my blog roll...not that it matters, just so you know about it :)

Wow...I think 400 pages might take me 4 years to read. Impressive, she must have had some out of this world reading teacher. :)

I know the feeling. My kids make fun of me when I have to be away from the computer for more then a couple of hours. And I start to feel the affects of withdrawls, not a pretty sight!

I definitely understand the "withdrawal" effects of being without the computer. Our's currently runs our internet, TV and US telephone. When it's down...well, it's as if I'm living half-way around the world. :)
I loved the book 90 Minutes in Heaven. I recommend it for all.
And way to go Emma! I don't think I've ever read a 400 page book, much less in a day!

This happened to me just last week. It was a real eye opener for me to how much time I can sometimes spend on the computer.
I'm so impressed with Emma reading a book of that length in that amount of time. If a book is too long, it doesn't even get checked out at my house.
