A little funny

This past weekend this conversation was overheard. Evie(6) was trying to prove to her sister Eden(10) how smart she was.

Eden: What does M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I spell?
Evie: It spells Mississippi...(long pause)...or Alabama.
