Two verses this week:
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely, immeasurably, and abundantly more than we might ask or think. Eph 3:20
This woman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charity, which she continually did."
Acts 9:36
I am putting them together because I want to live a life that shows kindness and charity continually in what I do. And God, who is able through His mighty power is at work in me, accomplishing infinitely, immeasurably and abundantly more than I ask or think.
I am going through the book Power of a Positive Mom with several woman from church. What an encouragement it is to talk with other moms that are striving to be all that God wants them to be. We recognize that we don't do it all right all the time, we fall and fail. It was wonderful and incredibly encouraging to me to hear the hearts of the other moms that what we dream most for our children is not a certain career path, but that our children love and serve God. Thanks to you that are such a blessing to me!

The girls actually did great with their verse. I was so excited!!! It seems no matter what stage we are in as women, we need to continually encourage each other and I'm so glad to be part of yet another group doing just that.
Eph. 5:16 "Talk with each other much about the Lord"
Heb. 3:13 "but exhort one another daily..."
I don't have monday menu, but a new fave is homemade chicken pot pie! Yum!
Those are some great scriptures to be learning! Abounding with deeds of kindness and charity continually...I so want that to be me.
The book sounds like a good one. Do you think it would be a good read for a mom with teens?

Thanks for being so faithful with your posts, Jill! You encourage me! Ask me about my verse tomorrow...it's not even long; so I should have it memorized :).
New idea for dinner-southwest chicken salad.
Someday I'll be able to blog more, and when my blog grows up, I hope it's more like yours!
Hi Jill! Thanks for your comment on my blog! I wish I could post a picture, I have a lot of cute ones, however DSS will not allow us to. Maybe someday!
